The ribbon looks rather new, and in the right picture the centre core looks as though it may have been touched up. Is that paint I see on some of the beading?
I'm not worried about a repro-ribbon, as that can be replaced...I agree that the core appears touched up, but what are your opinions of the cross itself?

There are better people on the forum than me who can advise you on that. I only know the basics to look for!
I love theses things--- It's a fake of a fake.
Someone made a one piece copy of a 9th bead fake.
The 9th bead on this one can be seen a block away
and a closer look shows the 1 piece construction and
the paint way up into the beading.
