A just received this in the mail. I was so excited to get it that I have not
had time to take some proper pictures so for now some quick scans.
This is a 1870 Ek1 made by Godet.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
It has a few condition issues. It has been hand vaulted which cracked
the core. The catch has been reattached and it has been given a coat
of varnish or laquer. But considering it is an original 1870 ek1 with the
correct makers mark and side hooks. I am absolutely thrilled to add it
to my collection.

Great pick up Greg!
Even with all of it's repairs and conditions, it's a beauty!
Congrats on landing this one!

Hand vaulted and cracked core? That just adds to its history IMHO. The guy wanted to look cool
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
