Article about: I haven't seen this mark on a 1914 EK2 before. Is it legit?

I have not had a chance to really look yet. Been working 12 hour days
lately but I will try and do some searching tomorrow.

I found a match to the core. Our favorite mod Ralph once posted
a cross marked "WuS" that has the same core.
This actually surprises me because I have always felt that the "WuS" mark
was one of the earliest Wagner maker marks yet your cross seems to be in
    a ww2 style frame.
