    Hi Octavian,
    I used grit 400, you could also go to 500 ! That way you will not "scratch" too much, and after a little grease ansd rubbing it is almost impossible to see scratches on the leather, it just looks worn !!
    And yes, thanks again Steve for the tip on the candlesmoke :-)
