    Josh,

Looks to me like a perfectly good 1917 Lederschutzmaske. It appears that the lenses are just disfigured, curled from age or heat.

    It is very nice

It looks to be more or less intact with straps and all.
The eye pieces are curled from heat and poor storage conditions.

Josh, a nice original M17 Lederschutzmaske in what I would describe as great condition....I have just sold mine with can/straps and spare lens....the lens were designed to be replaced by the wearer after attacks, so several spares were kept in a compartment in the lid of the can....as stated, yours have just deteriorated with age...nice to see it has all its straps and the "string" connecting the nose with the top of the mask (many are missing this). Prost ! Steve.
