Thank you very much Anton but none of those match.
Thanks for all the help guys, this is the nearest i can find
Sachsen Husaren but it's not exactly the same.
Gentlemen....thanks for the super enlargement of the photo ! I can now based on the following observations identyfy these chaps......shoulder straps have the entwined "AR" a Saxon cypher, the Regiment wears "Double Litzen" both around collar and on the "Swedish style" cuffs, the cap cockades are Saxon, (colour would be white/green/white) the shoulder boards will be blue with red piping with white cypher and are "squared" at the ends, this Regiments straps could be completely squared off at the ends or partially, see photo of wartime shoulder strap.....so this means it could only be a recruit company of Grenadiers from the "Kgl. Sächs. 1. (Leib-)Grenadier-Regt. Nr.100" garrisoned at (Dresden, and part of the XII Armee Korps.
........Voilà !
Prost ! Steve.
Bravo Steve. I knew if anyone could ID them that you would be the one.
Correct Anton !.....a squared off shoulder strap, text book style, although in reality, the boards used could have a slightly pointy end !
Prost ! Steve.
Well done.
The expertise you guys have amazes me.
