    A few more for you all..
    What do the three stars on the collars mean?
    I also have a lot of KuK feldpost letters & postcards would the franking marks be of interest to anyone out there.

    alpenfestung ,.... 3 six pointed stars (white celluloid) on collar or a patch = Zugsfuhrer/Szakaszvezeto (Sergeant). The first photo is of a commerative 'Death card' popular amongst the Catholic population of both Southern Germany and Austro-Hungary.Your colour card is of 'Field Marshal Archduke Erzherzog Friedrich' here is his biography, http://www.austro-hungarian-army.co....g/erzfried.htm
