ha ha ha they treated my helmet as if it was a 1976 Camaro

anyways this was my first helmet and it was given to me when I was 19 by a co-worker at the time, the guy was in the aryan nation and did some kind of pagan wierdo rituals lighting fires in the helmet (wierdo) aparently it burned a hole in it and then he bondo'd it up!

P.S. what is the difference between a m16 and an m18?

Hi Justin, here are the differences:

M16: lugs on the inside of the shell to attatch the chinstrap. Leather liner band.

M17: As above but with steel liner band.

M18: no lugs for chinstrap inside the shell. The chinstrap now fixes direct to the steel liner band.

There are also Austrian made M16's. The chinstrap fittings are different to their German made counterparts.
