Article about: G'day collectors , Came across this sword and wanting to know more about it , dark patina on brass and steel , has wear on blade with a few chips . possibly a Regimental Prussian/German Cour

That is an Old Pattern Prussian Infantry officers sword - Preußisches Infanterie-Offizier-Degen aA.
Looking closely at the marking, I think it is R rather than P. If so the unit is Füsilier-Regiment Kaiser Franz Josef von Österreich, König von Ungarn (4. Württembergisches) Nr. 122, Company 6, Weapon 2.
