I think this is police german bayonet
It resembles the Kurzes Seitengewehr 98 (which did have a sawback).
Some had the saw ground off. Often the blade-back on modified bayonets will be concave and sometimes you can see the remains of a diagonal groove across the blade-back where the grinding was a bit sloppy.
The KS was 386mm long - the blade was 254mm.
If it isn't a KS98 then it will be one of the various dress/private purchase/walking out bayonets produced by the Germans based on the KS98 design.
Hope this helps.

BTW - are there any markings ?
Thanks for your opinion
From World War 1 right?
I have a repro Polish wz.24 universal bayonet frog that needs a bayonet to go with it,Polish and lebel bayonets are to expensive (Well lebel bayonets without scabbards are cheap,But the scabbards arnt ) so are ww1 German bayonets but this one looks to be a relic but with a little clean up Ill look good
Thanks
Richie thanks for the reply!I didnt see your post yet when I posted the last post.
Thanks for the info!As for markings,I dont think there are any, They might of been worn down or someone went a little hard with steel wool on this relic
Thanks again

The KS98 was issued to the German forces between 1901 and the end of WW1.
The dress bayonets inspired by the design were sold during WW1 to the end of WW2.
Shame there are no markings - we shall never know !
