Eisernes Kreuz 1914 - true or fake ??
Hey mates..
first of all, i do not know if i am posting this on the right place as i dont see a WW1 Kreuz section, so i dared to put it here, hope there is no problem with that.
i am being offered this cross, but i am quite ignorant on this matter.
i see any mark, but maybe the pin/clasp might profe clueful ?
Any opinions? I just have got this 2 pics, hope they help...
Best regards to you all
Dan

I have a feeling that it's a one piece fake. These pics
do not enlarge to be sure - plus the condition
is very poor..........

As Steve said, The pictures make it hard to judge the details but
it does appear to be made in one piece and I do not recognize the style of pin and hinge.
I have some serious doubts about this cross.---------------------------------
-----------change that---I have no doubbts about this cross ,Please see my additional post below.

I just did a quick scan through ebay and the cross you are being offered is most
definitely a fake. The bad pictures helped to hide the details of the core. That core style
has been making the rounds for a while now and that pin can be found with and without makers
marks. Usually "Deschler and Sohn." but also with various other fake marks.
Here is just a few examples I found----
