Good cross. It has a very generic core so attributing it to a curtain
maker may prove difficult.

Hi Greg thank you!
According to the seller, this cross is oversized compared to a standard Iron Cross 2'nd class from 1914.
I have ordered it, puts out new pictures when I get it.

Hello again!
The more I look at the ”stamp” on the ribbon ring I think it looks like A as in Assmann, can it be so?

Nice cross.
It very well could be an Assmann but I can not say for sure. The mark could
be a very poorly stamped "A" or it could just as easily be a random tool mark.
As I had mentioned earlier, it is a generic core that was used by several makers
including Assmann at one point. ( It is not their primary core design )
I have attached some pictures of some other "A" marked crosses that you might
compare against. I did spend some time trying to compare frame characteristics
such as the beading at the inner and outer corners without much success however
you will notice that some of the "A" marked crosses do appear to use the wide frames
like yours.

Thank you so much for your help Greg, I appreciate it.
I have also compared the A marked crosses that you have attached and some other crosses and have not found any that looks the same as my cross. I have too search further what it might be for ”mark” on my cross.
Best regards
Martin
