Really like these photos. This looks to have been a smaller manufacture.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Thank you mjw, these are very interesting indeed. Really nice to see a little of the processes of the manufacturing of these crosses. They add even more passion in me for Imperial EK's.

    Malcolm,

What a splendid find! The pictures add more to the story behind the creation of the crosses. Thanks for sharing!

    That was fantastic.
It does show the cottage industry look about it.
Does the book say who the makers are? What company?
    Thank You Malcolm!

You are all welcome everybody. Apart from the cover, these pictures are the only really interesting part of the book. I don't know if it identifies the factory. I will take a look, but my knowledge of the language is limited to essentials such as "Kaffee und Kuchen". On my mothers side I had a great grandfather from Prussia so the language might have been a fun thing to have learned and would certainly proved useful later.

School in the UK during the 60s was not a very enlightened experience for many of my generation. Our school taught no second languages. A tragedy really, with our nearest neighbours only a few miles away by tunnel! Although there has been nothing to stop me since, the expediency had gone. The excuse of my generation. Perhaps it could be a retirement project. With luck I might expand my vocabulary and be able to add 'eiscreme' to my order! Kind regards, Malcolm.
