Looks fantastic! I just love this kind of craftsmanship and creativity... a luxurious looking bed for your EKII indeed!

Thanks again for the compliments guys!
I wasn't planning on making a bunch of these, I just like the challenge.
Sometimes I just see something that I think would look really cool in miniature, or like this, I see something that I know I can make and don't really want to pay someone else to do it for me.
It took 3 weeks just to get the domes. I normally buy the ones that are a little larger for some of my figures and other projects. I buy the good quality domes with very little distortion in them, they are more expensive and I believe come from Germany. (Why spend so much time on a project and then not be able to see it clearly?)
    Thanks again,
    Ralph.

That is how I managed to get the wife's approval to get militaria in to the living room.

Same with me. My domed Ek is one of the only pieces I get to display.

I took the time to take a sort of group photo now that I am finished using both of the domes that I ordered.

Very nice! I imagine you could start a side-business with these...You could offer different color backgrounds, such as black or maroon, lol...
    A classy display, well done!
    cheers, Glenn

    Thank you very much Glenn!
I have only ever seen two of these and both were done with a light color material.

    Thanks Nick!
    What do you think?
Do you think your lovely wife would allow you to keep 1 EK II on display if it were displayed like this?
At least you would have the option of rotating them out every so often.
