It is an original but it has had the suspension ring replaced or re-soldered.
There should be a letter for the makers' mark. I don't know what gives
with the number - other than indicating the silver content - which
this does not.
There are still plenty of WWI EKII's around, so you can easily find
a much better one.........

WW1 cross with WW2 ribbon ring?............mm '7' is Paul Meybauer.
The ribbon ring has obviously been resoldered.
I am about 90% sure that the cross is a Godet, although it's in bad shape and
hard to make out the core details. --- Below is a picture of the inner corners of
my Godet first class. The beading looks really close IMO.
