German 1888

Article about: Hello guys ,I,ve come across a German made Austrian 1888,it as a badge added to the handle at a later date i doubt wether you can tell when it was added but are these bayonets far and few be

    Thanks Steve ,the pic of the eagle i posted was the nearest to the one on the bayonet i could find was,nt sure if the one on the bayonet had been modified or it was a pin ,Thanks Paul.

    The german made WW1 bayonets I had for the austrian straight pullers were all bright finish. Someone has refinished it post WW1 as well.
