German Bayonet??

I have recently found this Bayonet in very poor condition. I am hoping that someone here can help to narrow down the details on it. I am pretty sure that the condition is not good enough for a collector and I was thinking about doing work on it to display in my home. However, I wanted to clarify that before I really dug in and cleaned it up and made a new handle for it.

Andrew, My guess is that its a German 1898 n/A bayonet made by Erfurt in 1902. In my opinion its worth very little in its current state and would have no issues with cleaning it up for display.

I agree. More a relic than a collectable piece, but may make an interesting display.
