Very cool knife, and one I had not seen before............!
Regards,
Steve.
This is my favorite pattern. I got one years ago. it's still my favorite. The sheath has an unusual configuration too. I had no idea who the maker was. Is this maker a guess or has it been seen in a period catalog?
Thanks for showing it.

Ok
You are starting to make me jealous.
Hi,
please post images of your knife here in this thread !
Does the scabbard of your knife looks like this one ?
Regarding the maker:
In the book "Deutsche Kampfmesser" by Eugen von Halasz the author mentions, that a copy of this knife with the imprinting G. FELIX, SOLINGEN upon the "Terz"-side, (the right side), of the blade, is known.
Best,
R.
Hello Reibert,
I took some photos today. They are not the best. The sheath on my knife is somewhat similar to yours, but the leather does not go inside the sheath. Also, the strap on mine is longer and has a slit for a button on the back side. The condition is quite good, with much of the original black paint. The blade is bright. I hope you like it.

Great knife, congrats !
It´s known, that such pattern knives were coming with a scabbard like yours !
Thx. for posting !
The scabbard with leather I showed in my #14 is a field repair, (I assume), and came with a trench knife, made by Backhaus.
BTW, may I use your images of your knife to show them otherwhere ?
Thx. in advance.
I like that knife. Really good looking. Congrats Reibert. Never seen this model before. Do you have some info on it?
As I mentioned, the maker probably is G. FELIX, SOLINGEN.
This knives usually came with a scabbard, (note, the leather-strip wrapped around the "mouth" of the scabbard, that´s typical for this pattern knife), you can see in the posting of CCMJR.
There´re knives known, showing a black hilt and uncolored crossguard, also, knive´s with field-grey hilt and black crossguard.
A cool trench knife it is!
