German Honour cross

I brought this honour cross in a museum converted from a German coastal bunker in Jersey when I was about 10 years old, Does anyone know the maker?

I can not quite make it out...is it "H.C Co L." if so " Hymmen & Co. Lüdenscheid"......sorry I can not be any clearer....

Thanks for the info, the markings do look like H.C Co L.
