German Imperial Helmet

Good evening,

I have found this helmet and I don;t know if it's an original piece or not. I collect Romanian ww1 and ww2 helmets so I am not familiar with this kind of helmets. If it's original I am interested in buying it, also I would like to know how much is it worth if it's original. Here are the photos.

The design of this helmet is for the Kürassier, with the wappen is for Kürassier Regt. 2. The helmet should not be painted black, but is polished steel. It appears to be a post 1894 model helmet. As to it being original: need more pictures some of this inside. Are there any marking stamped on it anywhere? Is the spike base being held on with slotted head screws?
As to value - I'm not really up on that, but condition is important and this helmet has seen better days. The wappen is a valuable one, but this one is broken and a replacement isn't easy to locate.

The screws used to hold the spike base on is definitely incorrect.
Some pictures of the interior would be of immense value in determining many things.
