    Reuse the original holes to restitch the visor, the cockade are officer's. See if the metal parts attract a magnet. Also a good clear photo of the inside of the rear visor would help (so we can see the markings).

    For some collectors, cockades are a whole collecting field just in themselves! There are some Enormously rare ones out there. As Glenn said, though, the 2 shown are about the standard normal style to pick up. Now, you have to decide what Province colors you want to have on the left one!

    With a Prussian wappen, wouldn't he have to have a black/white cockade?
