I'm not sure about this one. The core is good (original) and I have seen this
style heavy frame beading before but all of the file marks on the edges of
the frame really cause me some concern.

I think that quite possibly that the backside of this cross is not original to it.
If it's a old repair or if it started life as a 2nd class cross, I don't know but it
has been messed with at some point.

Having seen the edges a little more closely, they don't look like they've been separated at all. They're tightly sealed together so it is has been messed about with, it must have been a pro job
