    Are all the items on the pics german WW1?

    All looks WW1 to me. You can date the binoculars exactly from the serial number.

    Carfin, items are original period pieces from WW1, all except, the "Buttonhole" medal ribbon containing the "Hindenburg Cross ribbon, which will obviously,be from 1934 on. I especially like the Regimentally marked G98 muzzle cap, marked 172.R. 1.17. = 1st Company, 17th Weapon, "3. Ober-Elsässiches Infanterie-Regt. Nr.172 (Neubreisach) XV Armee Korps", Prost ! Steve.
