Hamburg Cross / Hanseaten Kreuz

Picked this out of the mail today. Was bummed out that one went on ebay for 30.00 less 4 days after I bought this one, but hey, what can you do? EKs are there for comparison. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but I like it nonetheless.

What do you think about that green stuff? Should I take it off with something? (See pencil pics)

Very nice cross. ( If the tarnish buildup bothers you, use a Q-tip
swab with a small amount of Windex and rub gently.
Most of the verdigris should come off )

Oh god ... maybe when I get out of grad school. Haha. Thanks for the complement though!

I've recently acquired a ribbon for it off amazon. The guy said they're original and have been in storage. I'll take a picture soon and post for you guys after I do a "burn test" on it.
