My question is do you think this is Turkish rework or a shortened German ww 1 bayonet.
Tough call for me, ersatz bayo's are a special study all themselves. The bayo, without serial numbers or crude repairs, doesn't look like a typical Turk rework. The scabbard looks to have had some crude brazing done in the throat area, but the frog stud is still the German style, not the oval Turk style. It also doesn't have a throat screw were it should be. I really can't say for sure.
