    Sorry, Chris. I don't know a whole lot about pickelhaubes myself to have helped
    at all. It seems the lid is pretty nice, though it may be WWI Hungarian or
    something - the liner, pad, rivets and their placement are different
    to what I'm used to seeing in/on a WWI German helmet.

    Still very cool...............!

    It is ww2 german civilian helmet,was able to find what it was before I bought it.

    I guess that means it is a reissue or reworked WWI helmet..........?

    Not ww1 at all,just a light wait ww2 helmet that looks like a ww1 helmet used in parade and factories .

    Hey Chris,
    sorry I didn't noticed thise treath until now.
    First one is a officer's Bavarian Schwere Reiter .
    Missing parts of his inner-liner.
    Thise on is in (dammaged) leather, but you can see a vulcan fibre one in Adlers treath (construction is basicly the same!);
