I picked up this watch cover with some other relic pieces apparently found in a German trench. I was hoping someone might be able to decipher the engraving. Any assistance much appreciated.

Sounds more like it may be an address. I was hoping it was a unit name and number. Still, it’s a nice little piece of history nonetheless.
