gerrit, looks to be a nice "screw back" EK I by the maker "Paul Maybauer" of Berlin, 900 is a good silver content, (however not upto U.K. Sterling Silver standard, that would be 925), the screwback device "disc" being marked with the " DRGM" (Deutsches Reich Gebrauchs Muster, meaning "registered design in the German Reich") does it have the licence number 653146 (I can just make it out, my eyes are not that good these days ! a better photo is required or can you confirm the number), this is the improved disc with a thick bar across to facilitate easier rotation (earlier design had a "nut" device), this design was often used by the maker Maybauer. Screwbacks are quite desirable, 250- 300 Euros from a dealer, a little less privatly.
    Hope that helps.
    Prost ! Steve.

Nice info indeed. But i thought that dealers pay less than collectors because they have to make profit reselling it.

thats axactly what he wrote "price to pay" : 250-300 buying from a dealer,
and a little less buying privatly

This dealer asks 325,-- euro's, thats about 80-- euro to expensive for me.
have to pass on this one.

My bad. I thought Steve was referring to the money you will be given if you sell it to a dealer or privately ( a collector).
The way you explained, of course, i agree it makes sense.

Personally i would prefer to spend 325 for an EKI with it's case than 325 euros for a single EKI just because it has a SB instead of pin.
Or if you want an imperial one, you can spend about the same price and get one with it's case, or even it's carton too. I paid 380 euros for a set like this and it's perfect. Of course these things are objective to the needs of every collector.

Steve was spot on with his information. You've got a nice Meybauer cross there.
While not really rare, they are quite collectible because of the cruciform style back plate.
