Imperial Eks

Article about: Excellent EKs you have there Chopperman. Can you tell me more info about this one?

  1. #1271

    Default Diamond stamp EK2 1914

I told myself that the previous one I bought would be my last but this one presented itself on EBAY for 43 dollars and I had to take a stab at it (and got it!). It has a diamond shaped maker's mark but the core seems exactly like my CD 800 core (shown next to it). Another replaced ribbon ring?

Also have a picture of the super rare Chinese Dog EK set worth well over 10,000,000.00. I'm taking offers presently for those interested : )

Not a diamond but a square.
These are known as "Square punch" crosses.
The cores do match the CD marked crosses. There is
some question as to wheather or not these were assembled
by Dilenius or if he supplied the cores to someone else.
Either way, they are still a collectible cross.

Here is my example of a "Square Punch" Ek1.
It has the more common of the CD800 style cores.

Thank you for your nice comments. I have a feeling this wasn't the last WWI EK I'll own. Ralph, this cross really speaks to me, it's a bad@ss cross!

    JW, nice score bud.

Nice crosses shown! This is how addiction begins. As we say here "Once is like never, twice is forever".

Here is my beauty. Let´s go Napoleonic, for a while

    All the best, Miro

You guys show the way :-)

This must be THE cross to have, no question !!
I don't even dare to ask, like how much one should expect to pay for such one, if lucky enough to find one in the first place ;-)
    Thanks for showing .

The 1813 1st class is THE cross.
I have only seen 3, maybe 4 originals ever posted.
