If seller doesn´t answer in time, just bid... If you win, then he has only you left to negotiate with... I know it is not very gentleman´s advice, but are you making friends on ebay, or buying crosses?

If I were you, I would say to the seller - part of Denmark was in Germany during ww1 and full in ww2. I just want you to ship to Grossdeutschland!!! Hehe...

But sometimes you are completely blocked from bidding, like on this PM !
When attempting to bid there is a window popping up, saying " you can not bid, contact seller, he doesn't ship to your country " !!
Sometimes there is no way around !
I have done what you propose many times, no problems at all :-) but never tried the Grossdeutschland card before ;-)

Today, this long wanted Maybauer 1 class popped up in the mail ;-)
I know there is similar one at this tread, but I couldn't resist posting it :-)
It has seen some use and have a few "battle scars" just the way I like it ;-)

I was thinking about bidding this one too, because I am still looking for one Meybauer cruciform. And this one is in lovely condition. But then I noticed that same seller offered once-in-a-lifetime cross. So I changed the focus.
