These Imperial post war veterans replacement awards are incorporated into my 1957 collection.......although small in number they make a visually pleasant display.
    Prost ! Steve.

    VERY nice looking display, Steve

While I don't collect post ww2 crosses and awards myself,
I can appreciate those who do. That is a very nice collection
and the display again is great.

Good looking cross, Miro. Very defined core !
You just outbid me there :-)
Funny, cause here is my latest cross, an AWS pillow back, made entirely of white metal, except for the hinge and catch !
Hope you guys like it, unfortunately there is no mm on the back, but a nice piece anyway :-)

Yours is second core AWS. These are very often in poor condition. Still nice cross, anyway. I have first core 1st class and third core 2nd class. Second core as yours is still missing in my collection. Although I see them from time to time, I am always outbid on them. On contrary, I was looking for first core type for three years without any success. Then one ebay seller offered two pieces in one time. I took the better looking one.

Haven't visited this thread for a long time but the revisit was definitely worth it.

    Great crosses

I like AWS crosses. With 3 different cores and several
different frame and core combinations and different pins
and screwbacks, you could have a collection of just AWS.

This is a cross I posted here several months ago but unfortunately in much worse quality. Chopperman mentioned back then it could be a Deumer, so I am posting better pictures in hope to resolve this question. What is your opinion on the maker?

There is also a fine line on the ribbon ring which I can't figure out. It is next to the suspension ring (to the right). I don't know if it might be a some sort of mark because it is not visible from the back side of the ring and it actually seems quite sharp, almost resembling the letter "I".

Thank you in advance for your opinions!

Very nice Deumer from 20-30´s era, always unmarked.
    Without any doubts.
