Nice crosses all
Marc,
Your MFH is in very nice shape. I have seen a lot of these with
pretty substantial paint lose. I still waiting to get a +M+ of my own.
They don't come along very often.
Jeff,
Congrats on your first.
That is a good looking Wilm. with a nice clean makers mark.
My own example is almost unreadable.

Envelope doesn´t mean private purchase. Vice versa, I would say.
Privately purchased cross with silver frames would be marked for silver content (800, 925, etc). And this one looks to have silver frames.
I read somewhere what LW means, but of course I forgot. But I recalled - Marc and Ralph - that MFH is Max Fleck & Sohne Hamburg.

Thanks for sharing them with us.
No one knows yet who the maker of the LW series crosses was.

I just recalled. Louis Werner. According to Emedals. They were offering LW cross with such description. I can´t find this auction now, but there indeed was a jeweler Louis Werner in Berlin (apart from J. H. Werner).
Silberbecher, 1920er Jahre, Punze 800, Juwelier Louis Werner f. Robert Dieckerhoff. Ca.115 gr.

Sorry, I was mistaking, and noticed my error :-/ I thought for a moment it was LV. But ofcause LW does not have any numbers following it !
LW, Louis Werner, as Miro says :-)
Miro, where did you find out MFH is Max Fleck und Sohne, Hamburg ?
