Hi Greg, yes a lot have been written on. Some are feldposts, quite a few Bavarian. Most are in that unreadable gothic script; but there is one in English sent from Nuremberg to Cleveland, Ohio on 21/04/1915, Cheers, Richard.

Ok. Here they are.
leej11, thats great, thanks for that..we can now have imput from the rest of the Imperial mob !....super crosses, i like the 'Urkunde'..see mine on page 14 of this thread.
Yes Oradour! Thats a nicer Urkunde! I really like the different paperwork I find on this stuff. I have had chances to get more of these as well as EK´s but Im not sure how far I want to go with these. Right now Im more interested in Ordenspange. I figure I will get more EK2s collecting these anyway. I really like EK1s but I find alot of fakes and the real ones run around 100 euro or more. Lee
Took some time to read through this thread and found myself taking notes on what I would like to have for my collection! Great stuff guys! Lee
Hi Lee, sounds like you've bitten by the Imperial EK bug, Cheers, Richard.
That's a great looking group of crosses.
You're off to a good start.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
Gentlemen......came across this photograph some time ago thought id share, i think it belongs on this thread, although strictly not a 'Imperial EK' !....i would think it was posed, the three soldiers in foreground all proudly wearing there EK II's in there 2nd buttonholes...taken early on in the war, entitled 'on the Marne'......enjoy.
Nice photo Oradour Like the rifle grenades, Cheers, Richard.
Guys,
To add to the pile.
Not sure what the medal is next to the EK2?
