An intruder to the forum and a request......

Apologys for posting a Third Reich EK2 in the Imperial forum and I hope the Moderators can accept my reasons for posting it here.....
Anyway, the cross pictured below was often referred to as the 'intermixed' or 'half' Schinkel in the TR collecting community as it was believed to be a mix of styles between a Schinkel cross and a regular TR EK2.
Recently it's been discovered to be Schinkel in its own right because its frame matches exactly to Imperial made crosses. Unfortunately no marked examples have turned up so we don't know who made them.
My request is to anyone who owns an Imperial EK1 or 2 to check the frames against the example below to see if they match and more importantly, if you do find a match, to check if the cross is marked so we might be able to identify it to a maker.
The inner corners of the frame are quite distinctive.

Adrian, very distinctive inner corner beading....not quite a 'Juncker', I have checked my collection of crosses with a negative result, lets see if any of the other contributors have one...i'll be surprised if someone hasnt got one !

through the Imperial data base at that other forum. NO LUCK.
I can't find a match.

Adrian, having read that thread then looked at other examples scattered around the net, It does look like it could be a frame from K.A.G., apparently this maker made their own frames, but it is suggested they may of 'bought in' cores. Unfortunatly the maker K.A.G. is not known, only the mark.
