I tried again doing what you suggested, I sharpened the smaller image in photoshop to try and bring out the marking more.

I tried again doing what you suggested, I sharpened the image slightly in the smaller picture to try and bring out the design a bit.

Here's KatheBrum's images. I converted them to jpeg, (png is too big) and also increased the smaller one from 88px to 300px. Hope that helps.
