Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914, Help?

It is looking unmistakeably like an "S" now. Well done to Adrian.

Looks nothing like the 'S' on my cross though but I guess there could've been more than one stamp. It would be good to see closer pics of the cross to see if the frame features match.

Here's a close up of the cross, I'm not sure what kind you're looking for entirely though, so I hope it's okay (fingers crossed that it posts)

Edit: they're all meant to be the same size, not quite sure what's going on there, lol.

The frame and core are different from my cross marked 'S'.

So where now? After seeing that picture above, I don't think it's UI and it does look awfully like an S.
To be honest, Adrian, the more I look at your picture (top) I wouldn't recognise yours as an S unless you told me.
