I looked up his few previous posts as I'm not familiar with this Gunman-character. 100% rubbish is what I found.

Gentlmen, I have deleted the post concerned, there is no place for that type of input, here or anywhere else on the forum, Red Line disregard the childish comment, your helmet is an excellent find at a good price ! Prost ! Steve.

thank you to all for your comments, your candor and your support.

another question, one can find another marquage in the helmet, we have already the marking SI 66, there is yet another mark that can be found inside?
    Thank

Have a look inside the helmet at the front towards the dome , there may be something there

Red Line, look inside the dome at the top, there should be a heat lot code/number , for example " Bi 123" this will identify the steel rolling mill, where the batch of steel was rolled/milled that your helmet was stamped from. "Si" marked helmets usually have steel milled by Oberschlesien,in Bismarckhutte, which will begin with a " Bi ". Here is how they made the M16 shell, from sheet steel to finished helm.... this method of stages of "Pressing", was the key to the helmets eventual integrity and strength.
    Prost ! Steve.

It may be that the lot no/ has been covered by the liner band, although annoying its still a nice helmet
