    Dear fellow collectors!
    M17 austrian heimwehr helmet from the 20's used by steier troops. Size66, brush overpainted in greenbrown. Steiermark shield has been attached on the front. An identical helmet is published in Ludwig Baer's legendary book about the german stahlhelm. Original heimwehr helmets are hard to find so I'm really happy owning this, another keeper.

    Bravo! The paint looks to be in great condition. I like that shield. And for the inside to still be intact, that's even better.
