I am probably wrong, but I think the last one might be an imperial 18 or 25 year service cross?

It is a Prussian 15 year service cross. I was wrong.

I may be able to shed a little light on the third medal from the left I had recently showed mine a few months ago and this is a quote from Adrian Stevenson ( It is called the Ehrenkreuz fur Frontkampfer it was designed by Eugene Godet . And inaugurated on July 13, 1934 by Reichsprasident Paul von Hindebourg it replaced all the previous State and unofficial WW1 commemorative awards which WW1 Vetrans were wearing at the time. Over 6.25 million of these were awarded. ) It is also called the Hindeburg Cross with Swords.

Awesome, thanks for the info guys

In regards to the Friedrich-August Medal, the ribbon has a bar that reads "Skagerrak". Any significance?

Well, I can say that that's where the Battle of Jutland took place, although I don't know enough about the medal to make the connection.

I would add that if the FA medal is the silver version which it appears to be then it was an officers medal bar. NCO's were issued with a bronze version.

I could be wrong, but I think the Hindenberg Cross is incorrect for this bar.
According to the ribbon, it should be this medal:

Original WWI German Legion of Honor Medal (07/13/2009)

( Hindenberg Crosses can still be found for $10-$20, while the
'Legion of Honor' Medals will cost about $50 )

It may also be possible to re-attach the medals. Here are two similarly
constructed bars, showing where ( approximately ) the medals are
mounted and how the rings are hidden behind the ribbons.........

Hmmm that's interesting. I wonder if it was a period error done by whoever mounted the medals. The guy I got them off said his dad picked them up in WW2 at some point, so who knows. Good info though, I'll see about setting the medals back on the rack after work
