Re: My First M16 Helmet.........
I have found most WWI and WWII German lids to be addictive. Can't have just one! Great lid, even if it is just the shell.

Re: My First M16 Helmet.........
I've noticed the ones with liners and/or camouflage are very expensive.........!

Re: My First M16 Helmet.........
Steve...that's a nice M16 shell, with what looks like some original paint left on it, a nice find !....mm "Si 66" is for "Eisenhuette Silesia, Paruschowitz Oberschlesien" they made sizes 62 and 66.
Prost ! Steve.

That is it - you are now officially addicted. Welcome to the group.... Hi, my name is Jim, and I am a helmet addict. The bumper sticker motto for this affliction is "one helmet at a time", but alas, be prepared to fall off the wagon from time to time. Nice first M16 by the way. Jim G.

You are now a believer, you now know what all the fuss is about. They will quickly overtake your "war room" and they are very hard to hide from the misses.
