Long time no see mate!

Nice helm you got there (you always get the best deals going!). As Ade said, the blocked vents are nice to see, I believe that the soldiers used to block them up with paper or mud because they had a habit of whistling and giving the game away so to speak!!

i will be be visiting more often now as this new server seems a lot faster than the last one, the vents have been blocked with what appears to be wood , heres a couple of pics with it now with my only other ww1 helmet which appears to have been used after ww1 by the freikorp , thanks again Dave
