Hello guys hope this is the right section to put this in as I could not one specifically for this item. It is a miniature Prussian Garde du Corps Helmet I believe and is made of metal of some kind, it does have some age to it but not sure how old. I picked it up a month ago and research online I have not been able to locate one like it. It seems to be made well and very detailed. Has anyone seen something like this before? It measures 3 inches tall to the top of the Eagles Head. There are some letters on the helmet plate on front. It says at top and bottom NCEGOMN and at both sides QBMINVO and in the center QBM•VVHM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking.

I am thinking 1970's perhaps so not terribly old, quite heavy for its size. Has me wanting one of those Pickelhaub Ink Wells though as I have been researching this one and saw one of those. I like the miniatures and have a few on Marble Bases and one that is not. Put this one in here as a display piece. For 30 bucks it was a sweet deal for what it is. I don't come across this stuff very often and have been collecting for only a year and a half so its exciting for me to discover a lot of this stuff and be able to buy it, they can't all be homeruns as I have found this type of filler gets one through dry spells. Here it is in its new home.

Sorry I can't help with any specifics about your miniature helmet.
However I completely agree with you that these miniatures are very cool and
items like these do indeed take us through times when we either can't find or
    can't afford the good pieces.

I really like these little miniatures as well but rarely see them. I particularly like the Imperial you’ve shown CGR and lovely display cabinet and Greg I love that little Camo you own too!

Thanks Andy and Greg! I agree, these miniatures are pretty cool to display with other Militaria and as for me I don't see them that often and pick them up when I can find them at a good price. I like those you showed Greg, very cool. I looked on the forum for miniatures like these and found a few threads but the pics were no longer there. Perhaps a good time to start a new thread on these little beauties?

The eagle's wings point differently, the head is high and the visor has that "{" form.
It makes it a Leibgendarm to me.
