Ok this is not world war 1, but it is a peice of history pre-dating it.

i scanned this Military Passport in, it was brought over with my family from Prussia, i was wondering if someone could tell me a little about it, it dates from 1872.

sorry, the normal adobe wont let me rotate and save, although if you right click it once it's loaded, you should be able to rotate it.

I am not of much help!
All I can see is that he was born 31 july 1851 and he was 1.59 high, I asume he was a carpenter and that he took service in the Bavarian 15 th Infanterie-Regiment König Lohan von Sachsen...
Apparantly he did not recieved a uniform, boots or headgear.
He did get money; 1 fl 15 fr
That is as far as I can get.

The writing is very precise, and hard to read, quite an interesting thing to be able to look at though.
