    What a fantastic Helm Adler. I never knew about the felt coating on these. Most likely because there are so few surviving example like the one you presented. Thank you for sharing you knowledge about these and the awesome photo's showing the details.
    That is an outstanding piece. Congrats on adding that to your collection.
