A good friend of myne has found them and is selling them to me.
I might buy a couple of them. Give me your opinions on them, i would like to ear them.

German Colonial pith helmet.

Im not too sure about the body armor.
He claims that its German but i dont know.

Can i have some opinions on the German helmets? im really interested in them.

The decal on the first one seems hand painted and im also not too sure about the chinstrap.
And camo on the other one has been covered with some product.
I think the colonial pith seems to be the one in best original condition.

The "decal" should be painted as this denotes a Garde helmet, although the shield is a little larger than I've seen on most of these. Is there a number painted on the rear of the helmet? This is the first M'18 helmet I've seen with the shield. I do think the chin strap has been replaced. It also appears that both steel helmet have been give a clear coat to protect them.
The armor does appear to be the upper plate of German body armor.

The armor looks like something i saw as trench armor one time, but i could be wrong

Im am inclined to buy the camo and the colonial one but im going to take a further research on the armor.
