painted ww1 erkennungsmark.

Article about: hi guys. just bought a ww1 erkennungsmark. but the name as got thick red paint on it can anybody tell me how to get it off without damaging the patina. thanks in advance. tony

    Got a picture of it? It really depends on how old the paint is, but I would try Acetone(But post pictures first)

    hi collectorww2, sorry about the delay, just got my computer fixed. The disk arrived & didnt have any paint on it, but here is a picture anyway.
