Pickelhaube......what do the stamps mean?

Just got this pickelhaube and noticed some marks on the inside. It was very hard to see with the naked eye so I used an IR camera. This brought out what looks like "PB27". There is also a round stamp that I was able to partially see with a red light and b&w photo. Is this an acceptance stamp? Looks like a date on it but can't make it out. Any info on this helmet would be appreciated. Thanks.!

nice helmet!
The "B" stands probably for battallion, the "P" for pionier.
But wait for better info from better informed members.

Pablo, as Kris assumes, the marking "PB27" is for Pioneer Battalion 27..... "2. Rheinisches Pionier-Batl. Nr.27,
garrisoned at Trier, part of XXI Armee Korps"...the other "roundel" marking will be a maker mark and not an acceptance mark. Your M1915 Pickelhaube is in need of a removable spike, front visor trim, cockades and chinstrap for completion.
