Hello fellow friends you all seem to be pretty good at identifying origins on backgrounds. I have the only photograph of my Great Grandfather in the German army in 1907. All I know is he was from the town of Schallodenbach in the Kaiserlautern and immigrated to the US before the outbreak of WWI. I was wondering if anyone could identify maybe possibly anymore information based on the photograph of him and his unit. I also came across another photo not sure if he's family or a close friend. Any information is much appreciated!
