Oh no...then I'm going to have to stay way!!! Got to fill the remaining holes in my helmet collection first. Only 4 or 5 to go so hopefully not too long of a wait...

Yes, these pickelhaubes are addictive!
The more I look at the markings since posting this last night, I am now fairly convinced that it is a "60" instead of "66". If you look at the lower right corner of the last digit, it is squared off, as compared to the first digit of "6" where the ink stamped 6 is more rounded on the lower right corner of the number. Seeing those small differences fairly well convinces me it is "60" for the number part of the marking.
Chip M. saw the helmet posted last evening on another forum and shared this information about the units: "The regimental staff and the I & III battalions of Res.Inf.Rgt.Nr.60 were formed by I.R.Nr.137 on August 2, 1914."
