Quick help needed on 1910 pillbox

Article about: Ever seen a classic 1910 pillbox upgraded in the field to NCO by adding a vulkan fiber visor? There is one I'm looking at.... beautifully marked and dated 1916....a black visor with writing

    Apparently attached to a Wurttemburg Reserve, XIV corps. Interesting thought regarding Freikorps use though.
    Vol.II Saris does show such a cap and mentions drawing from old army stock. That pretty much seals the deal for me as to a solid possibility.

    As does the writing on the visor indicating 128 such modifications...I speculate that adds up to a Kompanie with 4 Zuege/Platoons of 30 men each plus 8 Officers , quite likely a Freikorps Gruppe, in my opinion...Congratulations on a fine score and sharing the photos of an obviously scarce cap!
